ABOUT THE PROJECT
POSTAGE STAMP PROJECT
The objective of this project was to choose an American Graphic Designer of our liking and design a postage stamp. Paula Scher is known very highly for her typographic posters. She is best known for her variations of the Public Theater posters that she has created. For my final design I took inspiration from two of her pieces : " A lil sidetracked" and " A Diva is Dismissed"

Inspiration
The final design of the stamp's inspiration came from two of Scher's works. Left: "The Diva is Dismissed" I was inspired by the expressive typography screaming out of her mouth. Right: "A lil Sidetracked" I was inspired by the movement of the type and the color palette.
