ABOUT THE PROJECT

CAMPAIGN PROJECT

The objective of this project was to create a non-profit campaign that we are passionate about. I am passionate about many things especially unique abilities (NOT DISABILITIES) and mental health, because I know how difficult it can be to have people look at you differently, because of your unique abilities. The target audience was individuals with unique abilities having their voices heard and individuals who aren't aware of these abilities people possess and need to be educated on.

First round of designs

I wanted to convey a message about unique abilities, but not make it obvious.

Second round of designs

For the second round of poster designs I was intrigued by the idea of using a silhouette and including the names of the the different disabilities within the shape alternating the colors from the palette.

Final poster design

For the final I stuck with the idea of the female silhouette and the disabilities inside are contained, but the message for the poster design is that as the disabilites are peeling off the woman its telling the viewers that " a disability is a label, but it doesn't define who you are".

Sketches

Here are very rough sketches of my general idea before the final exploration of my design.
